5th Annual Video Poetry Marathon

The 2025 Video Poetry Marathon, organised by the PEN International Translation and Linguistic Rights Committee, brought together poets and writers from around the world in a global celebration of linguistic diversity. The marathon showcased poetry in Indigenous and Minoritised languages, highlighting the essential role of translation in connecting cultures and defending linguistic rights.

The Video Poetry Marathon continues to grow each year as a unique international platform that celebrates multilingual creativity and the power of poetry to build understanding across cultures. Through this initiative, the TLRC reaffirms its commitment to defending linguistic rights and ensuring that no language is left unheard.
