Dawit Habtemichael

Dawit Habtemichael co-founded, together with Mathewos Habteab and others, the independent Tigrinya-language weekly newspaper, Mekalih (Echo), where he also served on the editorial board.

He was arrested on 21 September 2001 at the school where he was teaching.
