The Writers for Peace Committee (WfPc) works to advance peace and dialogue through literature and freedom of expression. Founded in 1984 on the initiative of Miloš Mikeln and based at Slovene PEN, the Committee brings together PEN Centres worldwide. It is a long-standing co-organiser of the annual Bled conference, which provides a space for writers from different political and cultural contexts to meet, exchange perspectives, and reflect on the role of writers in times of conflict and division.
